Undertaking a creative endeavor is an interesting thing. I find myself having a lot of conversations with family and friends about what they think should go in the comic. Now, don’t get me wrong – several ideas I’ve used, and I’m sure have yet to use, have been influenced or even directly pitched from those very people. But that’s just the thing about any form of entertainment. The whole point is for everyone to understand, and enjoy something. So why wouldn’t they have an informed opinion? I guess I’m just not used to the input- none of my friends or family are calling me about my day job and telling me what they think of my body of work.
So what I’m saying is: Mom, please send me more e-mails about which brand of humidifier dispersion tube grid you think will do the best job. Thanks.
